I believe that the family is the building block of America and the world.

Family should be the first form of fully functioning government. The legislation that we deal with in government should be questioned as to whether or not is strengthens families.  No other success in life will ever compensate for failure at home.  I support all legislation that would strengthen and empower families.

I believe that individual liberty and personal freedom to lead our lives the way we choose are very important in our American life.

Our current form of government is far too big and has too much power to tax us and redistribute our wealth. The lack of vision and financial leadership at the federal level of government threatens all of us. We must prepare now and strengthen our state and our local community so we will be prepared locally for an uncertain future.  Alabama needs to work toward becoming more self-sustaining.

I believe in a strong military

My Dad is a WWII veteran and twice supported logistics missions to Vietnam.  My father in law served two terms in Vietnam.  Neither of them feel they are heros, they just did what they were "supposed" to do, but they are heros to me.  I believe the governments biggest job is to protect our borders and secure our homeland. 

I believe in term limits for all elected officials. If a governor can only stay for 8 years, why not make all terms the same?

I believe ethics reform is long overdue in our state government.

Do we really want to tackle gambling legislation, lotteries, and constitutional reform until we make government transparent?  No!  First things first. 

I believe in individual property rights and will fight to defend them.

I believe that entrepreneurial spirit will lead America now and in the future and the environment that creates small businesses must be preserved.

We should deal with our problems with illegal immigration since the federal government will not do this for us or any other state.
